Privacy Notice
Last updated 14 August 2026
This notice explains what information KANZA CAPITAL PARTNERS (“we”) collects when you use this website or request access, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep this deliberately short and plain.
Who we are
KANZA CAPITAL PARTNERS is an information and education service for Tanzanian markets. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@kanzacapitalpartners.com.
What we collect
- When you request access: your email address, and; only if you choose to share them; your name and the investor type you select.
- When you subscribe to The Daily Brief: your email address, the subscription choice you make and the time of that consent.
- When you browse from Tanzania: privacy-limited Google Analytics 4, cookieless Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights are on by default. They measure aggregate readership, engagement and real-world page performance. Advertising storage, advertising user data, personalisation signals, gated routes and personally identifying information remain excluded. You can opt out immediately in the notice or later through Analytics choices in the footer.
- When you browse from outside Tanzania, or country is unknown: Google Analytics 4 loads in denied Consent Mode and may send cookieless diagnostic and modelling pings, but it does not set analytics cookies until you choose Allow analytics. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights remain off until that choice. Choosing Essential only keeps analytics storage denied and removes KCP analytics cookies.
- When you complete a newsletter or access request: the form keeps only the four governed campaign tags (
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaignandutm_content) and entry/current path for the browser session. After Resend confirms the requested outcome, KCP records a separate operational outcome containing those tags, the coarse country group (Tanzania, other or unknown), locale and request category. That outcome record does not contain your email address, name, IP address, organisation, question, full URL or security token, and it is created regardless of analytics consent because it measures the service you explicitly asked us to perform.
Why we use it
- To send The Daily Brief, the Ghost’s editorial or platform updates you specifically request; only because you asked us to (your consent).
- To understand, in aggregate, which content readers find useful, so we can improve it.
What we don’t do
We do not sell or rent your data. We do not show advertising. We do not use your information to give you personalised investment advice.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact details until you ask us to stop or unsubscribe, after which we delete them within a reasonable period.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails, or by emailing us.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it.
- Change or withdraw your analytics consent at any time using Analytics choices in the site footer.
Service providers
We use Vercel to host the site and provide cookieless aggregate web analytics and anonymous Speed Insights performance measurement, Google Analytics 4 for regional-default or consented readership and interaction measurement, Resend to maintain email subscriptions and deliver or confirm requested communications, and Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated form abuse. A PII-free Cloudflare D1 ledger stores the confirmed operational outcome described above. These providers process limited data on our behalf under their service terms.
